Our Story

It started with a simple problem: there was nowhere to dance konpa. So in March 2023, we built the floor ourselves. First as classes, then as socials, and now as the community Central Florida turns to connect to Haitian roots through dance. Rooted in Haitian culture and built by the culture, Konpa in Demand isn’t just about dancing. It's about showing up for each other.

    Ooo chile I can write a whole book and I was only at one dance class. I can see y'all truly have the love for Konpa and that’s what makes it so enjoyable. It’s inclusive to everyone not just intermediate dancers but beginners. Trust me you are going to sweat but will be laughing too. The dynamic between the whole team and how everyone makes sure nobody is left behind when learning something, yall truly have cultivated a great environment for us konpa lovers.
